Road Hazards (Travis)

This is why we have to be careful driving… one of many reasons actually. Also notice how wide the road is – just wide enough for our van. This is one of the main roads connecting the east coast to the outback. “Road trains” are common – semis with 3 trailers, some of them 160 feet long. It’s a bit exciting to share this road with them!

One Response to “Road Hazards (Travis)”

  1. Thanks for the update, Mossman Gorge and Daintree bring back memories of us being there with Quincy and McKenna 15 years ago! Have fun on the way to Darwin-you are seeing some great wildlife!
    Love you, Mom
