90 Days Earlier (Quincy)

At the SF airport! Just said our final goodbyes and had our last delicious Lagunitas IPA for three whole months…sad. Can you believe we have slept in 7 different beds in the last 9 days?!!! Do you know how exhausting that is? For the first time EVER I am looking forward to the 14 hour plane flight ahead of us. Plenty of time to relax, read, watch TV, sleep, have a couple of drinks (that’s right…free beer and wine!).

I had a Cliff bar for dinner. Travis swears by them, but I think they are disgusting. I guess when you pack that much good stuff in one thing it’s bound to taste like dirt. I’m not even sure it beats airplane food.

I guess this is goodbye to the states for a while! We might miss you. More likely, we’ll miss our friends and family and our little doggies, but not the cold winter temperatures and driving on the right side of the road…soooo yesterday.

Ta ta!

  1. Goodbye Cliff Bars. Hello Vegemite sandwich! I don’t think Quincy knows the meaning of “disgusting”

  2. We, the United States of America, are thoroughly outraged by your swift exodus of our supreme empire. Firstly, when referring to our greatness, please use the appropriate abbreviation. “the states” is not only offensive, but reflects poorly on the education of our nation’s people. Also, your propensity for sleeping quarter promiscuity is appalling. On the subject of Cliff bars, we feel that your description of “dirt” leaves one to believe that the joyous melting pot soil in our land of liberty is not enjoyable to you. Do you not embrace the mix of cultures and flavors present in our good nation’s earth? Perhaps we should not be suprized. Someone who would disgrace their mother land in such a blatant manner would most surely not be refined enough to understand the concept of taste.

PS: Driving on the right side of the road is stylish.
